What is EXIF?
If you are new to digital photography or have never heard about EXIF. EXIF is an acronym for Exchangeable Image File Format and is specific to digital images. This type of specification is supported by file formats such as JPEG and TIFF, but is not supported by PNG or GIF files.
This data is recorded into the actual image file. Therefore each photograph has its own unique data. EXIF includes details related to the date when the photo was taken, the camera model and manufacturer, aperture, resolution, orientation, exposure and so on.
