With JDVoiceMail you can send voice e-mail messages to anyone with an e-mail address. The program generates compressed .wav files reducing from 16 to 10 times the size of the voice files. The recipient doesn’t need any special software to listen your messages, only by double-click the file, he can listen it using the default audio player. Only 32 KB for a 30 seconds voice message, send the voice file automatically with your favorite e-mail client.
JDVoiceMail is very easy to use. All you have to do is click on the Rec button and begin recording your voice email message. Clicking on the Stop button will stop recording. Now you can either click on Send or click Save. Send button will open a new email using your default email client and Save button saves your voice message on your netbook computer in MP3 or WAV file.
You can choose the codec that you want to use for compressing your voice message by going to Configuration and then choosing the Codec Options. Setting it to a high-compression codec like TrueSpeech, GSM, or MP3, preserves quality of the voice message. You’ll see on-screen just how much time and space you’re using for the message. Set up email access, and your files get auto-attached to an email with its subject already set. Mail Options under the same menu, lets you change the default Subject and Body text.
The program works with Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express, Thunderbird, Eudora, and other email clients.
