Being a netbook user is having its own set of advantages and disadvantages. There are some netbook users who are not blessed with any physical keyboard LED indicators for Num lock, Caps lock and Scroll lock. For them here is a small, free, utility, NumCapsScroll Indicator, which is an on-screen real-time indicator showing the status of the Num lock, Caps lock and Scroll lock buttons.
NumCapsScroll Indicator monitors the keyboard status of the Num, Caps and Scroll Lock buttons and indicates the status on-screen in the following ways:
- In the System Tray with its icon.
- With a tool-tip when you mouse-over its System Tray’s icon.
- With a small On-screen Keyboard-like panel.
- With a discreet sound (optional as a choice, but it gives you also the ability to hear a special sound when the Caps Lock key is active).
All the NumCapsScroll Indicator’s controls are available from its System Tray right-click context menu.
