Quick Config: Easily Change Netbook Settings Instantly

Quick Config is a free utility that enables easy and fast system settings change with just a quick load of predefined profiles. It is available both as standalone installer version and portable version. It is very useful and convenient for those users who are working with netbook or laptop and travel across working places, home and office. It helps them by allowing them to change network connection settings, set default printer and etc. with just one single click.

After you install Quick Config, launch it. You will see a simple to use user interface. Here, you can set up different profiles that are best fitted under different situation such as for office environment, home usage and etc. During the initial setup, you can create different profiles with each of them being configured differently. After creating the profiles, a simple click on respective profile will activate its functions when necessary.

There are five main categories namely Applications, Network, System, Browsers and Desktop that allows you to configure separately. You can set default applications such as whether to use Internet Explorer or Mozilla Firefox as default Web browser, configure start-up applications by browsing directly from program lists, setup network connections and printers, start or stop system services, change the website browsers (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Firefox) default homepage address and many more. It even allows you to set up display settings to have different resolutions and color depth as well as sound level and theme depending on own preference.
