Who will better know than the netbook users the importance of screen real estate? The small screen size of the netbooks always comes in the way for them who like to work with lots of open tabs in Google Chrome. Well, there is a built-in Google Chrome function that will save them a lot of screen space to open new tabs. I am talking here about the “Pin Tab” feature.
Google Chrome‘s “Pin Tab” feature helps you cut the tab size to just the favicon of the website. To reduce tabs size, right-click on the tab and select Pin Tab. As simple as that.

This pin tab feature also comes handy when you have some tabs opened permanently like Gmail, Facebook, Twitter, etc. This pins them or makes them sticky and will open them automatically when you reopen Google Chrome. This is how the pin tabs look like:
