RIOT (Radical Image Optimization Tool) is an image optimizer application for your netbook. Using RIOT, you can adjust your pictures, adjust compression parameters while keeping minimum file size and see the results in real-time.

The user interface available is side by side (dual view) or single view to compare the original image with the optimized image in real-time and instantly see the resulting file size. You can choose adjustments like in terms of shrinking the file size without making your picture look just nasty.

As you can see the effect visually and compare the result in real-time, you can mess around with brightness, contrast, color depth, and more settings. It is lightweight, fast and simple to use, yet powerful for advanced users. It supports many popular and even some not-so popular image formats, and gives you wide choice of industry-standard image formats like GIF, JPG, and PNG files as your output.
