Smith Image Converter: Batch Image Converter for Netbooks

Smith Image Converter is an open-source batch image converter for netbook users that supports resizing and renaming as well. The freeware application is a handy tool that comes with a friendly interface and some nice additional features. This image converter app supports conversion among JPEG, PNG and BMP formats, which are most often used.

You can use this application to batch convert multiple photos. To do so, simply add the photos that you want to convert into the app, you can also add a whole directory containing the pictures that you want to convert.

Under the advanced settings, you can set the size and width of the converted pictures manually, if required. You can also batch rename the converted output pictures. You can also set JPEG compression ratio in-case you are converting to JPEG format.
