Wenovo USB Disks Access Manager is a portable application for netbook users running the Windows operating system. The primary function of this application is to set a USB to work in read only mode.
Windows operating system by default keeps the read and write permissions enabled for USB drives. This often leads to malware infection of the drive, when you insert your USB drive in to an infected system or vice-versa. Windows does not have any option by which you can switch the USB drive into read-only mode. Thus, Wenovo USB Disks Access Manager comes here to your rescue.
Wenovo USB Disks Access Manager can even completely disable USB access. Very useful function, if you don’t want anybody in your absence, copy your personal stuff from your netbook.
How to use Wenovo USB Disks Access Manager?
Plug-in the USB device into your netbook and select the option read-only to make it non-writable. To block access to USB on a system, choose Disable USB Disks Detection. To re-enable read/write operation, simply select the option Allow Read & Write. Apply your settings for the drive.
After applying your options with this program, all of USB disks that are currently plugged into your computer should be unplugged and re-plugged to get the effect of selected setting. USB Disks Access Manager can not be run from USB/removable disks.

Hello,
I downloaded this software and applied the read only option. It works great.
However, when I applied the read/write option, it didn’t work. It is locked to the read only option. I have tried all possible methods based on the instruction, but to no avail.
I now cannot save my work to any external devices. I use a lot of external devices to save my work.
Please help to rectify this drawback.
